Minister says tension begins to rise on Russia’s labor market

MOSCOW, Jun 21 (PRIME) -- Tension on Russia’s labor market has started to rise gradually, the number of the registered unemployed has increased in June, Labor and Social Protection Minister Anton Kotyakov said in his speech in front of the Federation Council, parliament’s upper house, on Tuesday.

“In some extent we can see that tension begins to rise gradually on the labor market… In the latest periods of June, we can see certain growth of the number of the unemployed, registered in the employment centers,” he said.

Kotyakov attributed the rise to the sanctions pressure.
